Are You licensed and insured?

Yes, we are one of the few painting companies that actually are! We’re licensed and insured. This means that while you are out for a lunch with friends or on vacation in Ocean City, you can trust that you are covered if – and only if – the business or contractor is licensed and insured.  We will also provide each customer with a current copy of our insurance policy and contractor license.

What happens if the painters break something?

If something should get damaged while we are giving your home its transformation, the nice folks at Huff Insurance have you covered. We pride ourselves on our personal relationships with our clients. We give you the comfort and respect you desire when inviting us into your home.

What should I expect when the painters are invited into my home?

Rest assured we are all professional, polite, courteous, clean and tidy. We will treat your home as if it’s our own. We take special care to protect your home investments by covering counter tops, wood floors and carpets when painting. We’ll even give your floors a final sweep or vacuum to ensure your home is as it was before its transformation.

Is there anything you can’t paint?

Not really, if it can be painted or stained we’ll do it. We are a full service painting company which means we specialize in all of the following:

Residential; Commercial; Interior; Exterior; painting and staining of decks & fences, siding, fascias, soffits, doors & trim, wallpaper  removal, wood repairs, drywall repairs; pressure and power washing, sealing of decks and fences and much more!

Will you guys cut corners to save costs?

No. We only use the best in Sherwin Williams, products and materials, and with extensive experience and product knowledge you won’t go wrong. We’ll help you select the ideal colors and finishes for your next project. All materials we use are backed with Sherwin Williams’ manufacturing warranties. So you can rest assured that we’ll do the job with efficiency and quality. Also, if you can’t hire an interior decorator, you’ll receive a free basic color consultation along with your free estimate.*

Someone else quoted me a lower price, can you match it?

It’s possible. At the very least we will happily reevaluate our quote. If we feel that we can provide the same level of quality at the lower price then we’ll match the quote. Otherwise we’ll have to pass. We won’t sacrifice quality to get a job done cheaper. Read more about our price matching policy.

How long will it take to paint my house?
This depends on the condition of your surfaces, the type of work required, and weather conditions if the project involves exterior work. During our consultation with you, we will evaluate your situation and let you know how long we think it will take to complete your painting project.

What type of paint do you apply?

We use Sherwin Williams paint, but if you have a preference for another brand, then that is the paint we will use.

What do I have to do in order to get ready for the painters?

When we come in to paint your home we are expecting to handle most things ourselves. We move all of the furniture into the middle of the room, remove pictures from the walls and take down any window treatments. All furniture and belongings are carefully covered and all floors are protected with the proper drop cloths during painting. The only items we ask the customer to move are the small knick- knack type items and expensive items such as audio equipment. Upon completion of the painting we will put everything back the way it was.

What kind of surface preparation is done?

We make sure all holes and cracks are filled and sanded. Caulking is inspected around all windows and frames, doors and door frames and re-caulked as needed. Crown molding, chair rail etc. are all caulked and properly prepared. All nail pops are repaired and sanded. Any water stains, crayon marks etc. are sealed before painting and grease and heavy dirt accumulations are cleaned.
